Hi,

I have been offered the most beautiful trio of Bearded Partridge and would love to keep them.

A quick question is that can I keep them with my fab chooks and do they sleep in a roost box or on the ground?

Any help would be gratefully recieved as I want to make sure that the place is prept b4 they come.

Thnks in advance

I have never heard of a bearded partridge. Are you sure they are not talking about chickens?I have heard of a beard partridge silkie.

Well I'll be! Learned somethin today!

As a general rule tho gamebirds should not be housed with or directly next to other poultry due to disease susceptibility. Seems like an awful shame to kill something that rare...

As far as their individual care needs and habits-- dont have a clue. As threatened as they are it wouldnt surprise me if you needed a federal permit or at least state permits, tho this varies greatly state by state and speces by speces, but it certainly wouldnt hurt to check up on that..

Certainly a rarity to add to one's collection huh?

Hi guys,

Sorry my internet has been down (and boy have I been lost without it lol)

I am over the pond in little 'ol England. I should have told you guys that up front. Yes these are they, ad I'm now sorted, thanks.

I have them housed and they are so beautiful. In england you do not need a permit/licence however you cannot catch them in the wild.

Cheers
