I have my beautiful little silkies that I hatched myself about 2 weeks ago. These little ones are growing like weeds, eat great and love their brooder box.

They do enjoy making their shavings wet and I have since added a divider between their sleeping and drinking areas.

Before I did this, I assumed their bald bellies were from being wet and the wet shavings... now there is really no wetness and it just seemes like the feathers aren't growing in yet?

I washed their bellies with a warm rag to see and the feathers don't really poof up...any ideas?
