beautiful white cochin (my rescue) (PICS)

Someone had contacted me about her 4 roosters (1 white frizzle, 1 tiny black frizzle, 1 white cochin & 1 black cochin) that were beating each other up. I agreed to take them. They were in with hens, so of course they were fighting. Here is a picture of the cochin with such a pretty coat. He got it the worst. He lost 1/2 of a wattle, and he was also keeping one eye shut

Poor baby. They are all very gentle, and love to be picked up. I love to just hold them and love them, the black cochin still shakes when i hold him

Those guys are soo handsome
my boys are soo sweet,my Favorite black one follows my kids around and he protects me from some of my other boys that try to get mean. I wish I had some frizzles.

thanks everyone for the support. Ive been taking in roosters mostly as rescues. i dont eat them but instead i provide a loving home.

hahaha. whats funny is chicken is one of my most favorite foods. but i cant see myself eating my own chickens... not once ive looked into their eyes!


besides, my chickens seem to have it backwards....

they eat me
