Hi All!
I've been reading the how-to pages and scoping out the breed index on this site for quite some time, and my hubby finally built me a coop and I got my new chickies on Monday! They are hanging out in their brooder (GIANT rubbermaid bin) in my dining room and are doing well. I've got 3 Ameracauna hens, 3 Gold-Laced Wyandotte hens, 3 Barred-Rock hens and one Barred-Rock roo. I've got some questions about how to best acclimate them to being handled without freaking them out, but as requested, I'll try to put that in the appropriate forum. I'm having fun so far! Look forward to talking to all of you!!
