Bedding and breeding question!!

Hello, so i have 2 button quails I'm not sure if there boys or girls they are ALL white but right now i have paper towels down for there bedding and some that are torn up so they can snuggle in them but lately they have been pecking at them and ruffling up their feathers and one spreads out a lot so i don't know if there gonna lay eggs or what??!??

This is like the same thing says the same stuff just didn't know if they could choke because they can chock on cotton so i didn't know!! Thank you for helping!!! Please help!!

just use regular pine shavings or aspen do not use cedar it is toxic when wet and the fumes can make the buttons sick. You can vent sex them or if either are males there will be reddish feathers on the butt and maybe the belly areas. most females have no red coloring.
Be sure to feed them oyster shell finely ground and a good quality finch seed can be mixed into the game bird crumble after you smash the crumble a bit, so it looks like coffee grounds. enjoy your buttons they are great little birds.
