Bedding for Duck House

What does everyone use? I was going to use straw but I want something fluffier and softer. I saw someone used like a light green(maybe) bedding. Does anyone know what that is?

I haven't seen light green bedding I use thick flaked shavings. It's fluffy easy to clean up the wet and more better at absorbing.

That is probably hay.
I use larger pine shavings.

I use straw and thick flakes shavings, one or the other depended on what’s cheaper/where I’m picking it up and sometimes I combine the two.

Pine shavings with hay on top in the winter and in the nest boxes.
