what is the best bedding for keeping a sanitary outdoor quail avairy?

So you are wanting them on the ground then??? What type of Quail ?? Are you wanting something that can be completly removed or just turned up with some DE ??

It will be for valley or gambels ...they have a coop to go into in bad weathe,r but spend most of there time outside on decomposed granit and sand....What is DE is that Diatomatious earth and is so how does that work? thanks
