Bedding????

i use ceder bedding but ive heard its toxic and the coop gets dirty fast....

any suggestions on good bedding

I use pine shavings mixed with a sprinkle of food grade DE in the coop and nesting boxes. Easy to clean. The DE keeps the nasty bugs away and helps dry up the poop so no poopy smells.

I used to use Straw but shavings are so much easier to clean. I use pine shavings.

where do i pick up DE?

You could try the feed stores or gardening shops or online (but shipping can be expensive). Just make sure that it is Food Grade Diatamaceous Earth. It is NOT the kind for pools.
