I bought this plant yesterday, and I'm suddenly questioning if it is safe. If it isn't; I'll plant it away from their reach.
Thoughts?

It is safe for children and pets, it can be a nice snack for your pets unless you don’t want the flowers to be ruined.

Bee balm is a great plant in the mint family. It kills yeast (candida) and the fungus that causes althetes foot. It's a beautiful flower/herb and it tastes great. I believe if you rub it on your skin it repels mosquitos but that might be Lemon balm I'm thinking of.
It's safe for chickens.
