Beekeeper new to the chicken world

A friend gave me 6 chickens, all mixed breeds. They are all between 4 and 5 months old, looking forward to fresh eggs.

Man if I was a bee keeper I would die! I am allergic to bees DEATHLY the doctor said the more I get stung the worse it will be every time and unless I don't take care of myself I COULD lose my life.

They are Rode Island Reds and Plymouth Rock mix. Not bad looking,
