But I am back! Could not for the life of me remember my username, but have been cleaning out an old email inbox and saw an email with it -- and as much as I'd kinda love to change it due to the not so great memories attached to it's meaning, it's my OG name here 
No longer live in South Carolina or have my huge flocks of birds ... about a month after my last post in 2018 I had to leave overnight from what turned into a horrible relationship (luckily we didn't elope lol!) and go back to New Jersey to live with family for a bit to get back on my feet. I now live in central upstate New York, in orchard country near Lake Ontario. We have 5 acres, just closed on the house Wednesday, and once the spring comes, plan to start having chickens again (my current S/O agreed to them WAY easier than to me getting a horse
He did tell me I couldn't have 400 though

I've kept up with the page somewhat via FB, but look forward to contributing again, and having my own flock again soon!
