Hello to all. I've visited BYC in the past, but I just joined today. I've raised chickens off and on since I was a kid, and I'm closer to my second childhood now than my first. I have a small flock of French black copper marans, some buff orpingtons, black jersey giants, a pair of partridge wyandotte bantams, and one white rooster that was a "freebie" and I am not sure what the heck he is. I have built a number of coops and runs in years gone by, but this summer I built my first chicken tractor. My wyandottes are doing great in there. We had a windstorm that damaged our house and we lost two barns, and a number of other items that were outside. I used all salvaged material to build the tractor. One of the unique things about it is the top of the run is covered with part of the tarp from our old trampoline that was ruined in the windstorm.
