I have seven chickens that are about 19 weeks old that I believe are all White Leghorns. They all at least appear to be the same breed and I bought them all at the same time from the pullet bin at Tractor Supply. One laid her first egg on July 4th...a white egg. I am getting two-three eggs per day now but some are pure white, and some are off-white, not exactly brown but I would say with brownish or almost a slight rose-pink/brown tint. I would say those appear a bit more elongated than the pearl white ones. The only difference I can see in the chickens is some have darker and larger combs than some of the others but since they are all in the lo together, I have no idea which ones are laying which eggs. Any ideas as to whether these might be different breeds or not? The only other chickens in with them are three Lavender Orpingtons of indeterminate age which I bought locally and the guy said they were about 8-10 weeks old he thought at the time (about a month ago)...so they would only be about 14 weeks old at most and I believe are too small to be laying, especially since those nonwhite eggs are, if anything, larger than the white or at least as large. Below is a picture of these chickens...the white ones are outside the coop and the Orpingtons are standing in the doorway to the coop. Below that is a picture of some of the eggs, both white and off-white. I don't know how well the colors will show here. Thanks in advance for any ideas, as I am new to chicken-raising.

Here are some pictures of my white leghorn pullet. I hope that these help.

She looks like mine...some of mine don't have as large or as red a combs, but some do. Other than the combs being smaller and pinker on a couple of mine, they look like your beautiful gal.

Thanks!

If they were leghorns, than their lobes and eggs must be white. Their combs are also larger and floppier. Brown eggs and red lobes would be white rocks.
