So went to TSC today and somehow 5 little chicks made their way home with me. Must be that darn chicken math. Anyway, they were the only 5 in the red pullet bin and all the other chicks they had were cornish rocks and I didn't want those. But am I wrong to assume they will all be pullets if they came from the red pullet bin? I mean is it possible to get a roo out of there? I don't want any roos although we are allowed to have them. I have found a home for the 2 roos I already have.

I think most hatcheries claim a 95% accuracy rate. So you probably have all girls, maybe one boy.

It's been known to happen (and random stray roo baby makes it in with the pullets), BUT if they are sex linked chicks then it's easy to say you won't have a roo for sure (since roos hatch out a different color).

The bin didn't say red sexlinks but red pullets so maybe they will all be girls. I have a friend that will take any roos we get so if there is one then it will have a home. I don't know much about breeds and sexing them yet so thanks for all the help. Everyone on here has been super helpful with every question I have had.
