Beginning of a crest?

One of my ducklings has a little poof of hair that I swear wasn' there yesterday lol is it the beginning of a crest? If so, so they still lay normal?

I am not entirely sure...I'm a new duck owner and went to atwoods. I' pretty sure goldilocks, the one with the poof is a pekin. Also, the third pic isn' her, lol

Could be a White Crested Duck, their appearance is very similar to Pekins. Although, it is a very small crest compared to others in the breed.

I have two crested ducks and they both came with the crest pretty obvious even at a few days old.

Hello. I don't think that crest should cause any real issues. It's small. Crests are caused by the amount of skull that's not closed..Don't allow it to get bred if it's a Hen. Could possibly cause brain damage.

Goldis little poof looks just like that but she did not have it when I got her. I have her almost two.weeks now.
