I was buying a used car in Belleville last week.
This is a densly populated neighborhood. You can lean out your kitchen window and pass things to your neighbors kitchen window.
Yards are barely big enough for a car or two.
So I go to this guys backyard as he is getting the title for me. I notice a small utility shed with a familiar looking entrance cut into the lower part of the wall and some fencing around it.
Looks big enough for a chicken. I say to myself.
Then a White leghorn hen and rooster come out to peck in the snow!
I look down the row of houses and see maybe every third house has a chicken in the yard on this block!
Power to the chickens!
