Belly Protruding- hardly able to walk

I need help!! My 2 yr old hen has a very hard abdomen, hardly walking, feathers fluffed out, tail feathers down, keeping away from other chickens, diarhhea, comb is droopy. Can anyone help me quick? My dh thinks I should just put her out of her misery. Can I save her?

Does not sound good. I suspect you did not get an answer because it would just be a guess. If she is not laying I would suspect something serious with her egg laying system.

You could try posting with more details: breed, laying pattern, any moulting, feed, does she free range, litter used -- anything else you can think of.

I know you are very concerned, and I hope this does not turn out badly.
