Why do golden Pheasants get bent toes?

If you mean pheasants, I don't know anything about them but, if you go to the "Other Backyard Poultry" thread you will find threads about pheasants, the people on there should be able to answer your questions.

Welcome, glad to have you join us.

I have no experience with Pheasants, but reliable source on google search offers this info:

  • incorrect humidity in incubation
  • stress
  • raising on too smooth surfaces
  • poorly balanced diet

Evidently this can appear even in adult birds under stress or inadequate diet.

Hopefully someone with experience will offer their opinions and help you correct or avoid the problem.
