Meet Bert everybody I've become quite attached to this fella since rescuing him from being dispatched he was very aggressive to the point of drawing blood and never giving up he just kept coming, you could not turn your back on him he would just hit you with his spurs in your calves and hit hard, I started by cornering him and grabbing him, once I had hold he kind of calmed down but as soon as you put him down you'd better be ready. He was also very vocal going off about every five minutes and causing the neighbours to complain but I could understand as he really went for it.
The good news is after reading information on hear at byc I have managed to tame him

the instant that I knocked him off one of the hens as he tried to mate I was boss, amazing thanks so much. As for the crowing, also after reading advise on byc I got a "no crow collar" it works great so thanks again, it took a while for him to get used to it (but only minutes) and I had to find the best position for it on his neck, he ran backwards, played dead, tried to knock it off etc but now it's on his crowing is much quieter, I do feel mean but it keeps everyone happy and I can take it off from time to time. Happy days
