Bertha is gone

Just checked on her and she died.

I am so sad now I lost three birds in such a short time.

That is beyond awful..... I am in tears again... so many losses in such a short space of time. Sadly life has no respect for the heartache we face when we lose a beloved animal. family member or friend, I do so empathise with you.... I too have faced so many losses that have left me feeling that nothing can get any worse and then it does!

I can only reflect in life that the loss of a loved one be it family, animal or a friend has enriched my life and will always be an integral part of my future....

So, so very sad for your great loss

Yes I am sad right now but I can look back on my girls and I can see every one of them in my mind and I think often of how they enriched my life purly because they existed in it.

I have over the years since 2009 lost a number of girls : I started with 6 and see I have lost 5! somehow through the wonders of chicken Math - I still have 7?

Thanks for that you are very nice! I am just hoping and praying nothing sinister is in the flock as I lost 3 birds now in a short space of time.
