Besides worming, what else should I do?

On a preventative schedule? I'd rather not medicate at all, but I know I have to worm. Anything else?

To worm or not to worm was my question this fall also. Instead of just worming your flock because they might have intestinal parasites, you could find out whether they actually do. I asked around and found a large animal vet that would do a fecal exam for me. He also said he would help me with the medication in case they needed worming. The exam showed negative results and I was assured that my flock is free of worms without having to shove medicine down their throats.
