I have heard that duck and guinea eggs are wonderful for baking. Is there any truth to this? I only have chickens, so I can't compare myself.

Someone told me that some of the people who win baking contest after baking contest, alot of them use duck eggs, and guinea eggs are supose to be even better than duck eggs. I've also heard duck eggs make supreme french toast.

Anyone here notice a difference? Just looking for some answers. LOL. You know how some of these things go, people will tell you anything to strike up a conversation. LOL

How about the cooking with guinea eggs?

Guinea eggs are smaller are they not? I don't know, I haven't dealt with guineas yet.

They are smaller than average chicken eggs and with a thicker shell. Guinea eggs are very rich too. The yolk is redish orange (at least mine were) and there seems to be less white than chicken and duck eggs. I think duck eggs are better to cook with than guinea. Just my opinion.
