i have one rooster I am going to replace due to aggression towards me I also have two brother roosters that I want to have some companions what are the best tempered roosters that can deal with a rir hen and the best hens for big roosters

Orpingtons, hands down. BUT. word of caution with roosters- you should spend a *decent* amount of time around your roosters, especially, if you want them to not only know you, but not attack you. My buff O's were very docile and very friendly, but every rooster does and should have an inherent instinct to protect the ladies, its kind of their job, and trust me, you want to them to! Ive seen mine fight off raccoons, etc. Which def saves lives. I would highly recommend picking up your roosters as often as you can while you bussle around and do chores. Picking them up displays dominance and allows them to understand that you are in fact in charge....and...its really fun :) who doesn't love chicken cuddles???

Good luck!! Roosters can be a blast.:ya
