Hello, can you guys suggest the best and most important care that i should remember in taking care of my flocks?? i am just a beginner, thank you! hope someone can help,

I would say just keep the coop clean and dry - and be sure they get a good quality feed for their age/ type. Table scraps, scratch feed and free range pickings don't give adequate calcium or nutrition. If you have a mixed flock - have calcium (oyster shell) available for them.

Also be sure your coop is predator proof - to prevent coons and etc from getting them and they have enough space. About 4-5 sqft of coop space and about 10 sqft of run space per bird.

go to the learning center on the home page.... this might prove very useful.

Raising Chickens for Dummies is a really good book and very easy to read and understand for a newbie. I think, (although I am very new to having chickens also) that providing the chickens with fresh water is very important.
