Best Chicken Wire

"Chicken wire" is not to good any where----to be honest. I just use ----used chainlink dog kennel panels. If I need some smaller wire I attach chicken wire or hard ware cloth inside the panels.
If you are speaking about chicken wire not being good from your own experience, then you must not have gotten good chicken wire. The chicken wire I have on my chicken coop is over 14 years old with no problems.

Chicken wire here is like the wire in the Original Posters pic----not hardware cloth. The Only way chicken wire would last 14 years here is to keep it on the roll in the shed. But chicken wire we have here is not strong enough to keep out most predators---keep the chickens in until it starts rusting out.

If "chicken wire" is what is showing in your pic there, you are incredibly blessed that it has kept your chickens safe for over 14 years. We have raccoons, skunks, possums and coyotes and have to use hardware cloth on everything. Too small of holes for anything with hands to grab.

Does anyone know where to buy the best chicken wire for the best price?
I have been buying hardware cloth for three years from my feed store and then one day someone mentioned the store that I get my pipe fencing from, having hardware cloth. Went and checked and sure enough. Only a coupla dollars a roll cheaper but I buy lots of rolls so I'll take that savings.
