Best Feeder?

Our current feeder sucks. The food doesn't come down into the bowl where the chickens can eat it without me shaking it. Any suggestions?

We are just starting to build our first coop, so I don't have a answer to your quandary. I would like to know what type of feeder you do have though, so I know what not to get. We were considering hanging feeders for inside the coop. I would like to hear people's thoughts on that as well.

I use the generic red and white looking hanging feeders. They hold 7 pounds of feed and the only problem I have with it is they don't have a top so the bantams like to perch on the top and eat from there. But they work very well for me.

You can usually buy a lid for those ones
