Best first egg ever!!!!!!!!!!

So, I had a little chicky with olive colored legs. She came from a mixed backyard flock. I named her Olive. She sure was pretty. She grew up and I have always wondered if she would give me a pretty colored egg? Recently her comb has become darker, and I knew it would be any time until my question was answered.
Today I went out to check on my birds and I had a big beautiful olive colored egg!
Here it is, first row in with my store bought eggs. Not sure if you can see the color very well but it is for sure not white, cream, or brown. It is olive!


Here she is a little over a week ago.

I can tell it's olive for sure, maybe a light olive but it's olive just the same.

Ohhh We got egg #2 today. She must have layed that first egg after I went out to feed yesterday.
2nd egg is a LOT smaller and a little darker.

I'm totally jealous, I have a girl named olive. Her mom laid olive eggs, her sisters lay olive eggs. she lays brown Congrats on the egg by the way.
