Best heat source for incubator

Whats the best heater to use in incubator in case to give more heat with less power consumation
1 Heat bulb
2 light bulb
3 heater

The heating element would use less power for the heat output because the light bulbs lose some in light output. Not sure if the money savings is worth the price of the elements or not. I just use two incadescent or halogen light bulbs in mine since they are cheap I don't incubate full time or all that much.

For larger cabinet style incubators with a fan, I would favor a heating element. The coiled wire elements are popular with many builders. I like wire wound ceramic tube resistors. Light bulb would be fine for a smaller incubator.
