I am wanting to get an incubator, here are some requirments...

1. Holds about 25 eggs. (doesn't have to be that many)
2. Easy to use.
3. I think I want an atuomatic egg turner. If it would make the eggs process easier?
4. Anything else you would recomend.

If there is anything else I should add to my list please tell me!

Hello-

I've hatched with a Hovabator 1588, with an auto egg turner. It came as a package from gqfmfg.com, for around $189.00. Anyhow, I think it works pretty well. It has an electronic thermostat, so the temp stays nice and consistant. (Factory preset temp, but can be adjusted.) It had a fan for air circulation, nice water trays in the bottom. The egg turner worked very well, and it came with chicken egg trays, and quail egg trays. Holds quite a few eggs, way more than 24. A very nice product for the money.

Good luck in your quest for the best incy!

consider Brinsea with turner Holds 24 chicken eggs I just got one a Brinsea 20EX Package with humidity pump and is full of quail eggs ,Top of the line incubators I am amazed with that incubator. gets to temperature very fast , all digital control nothing to worry about . looks Very easy to clean

A genessis 1588 is a good incubator too Last batch of eggs I had 44 shipped Quail eggs and 42 hatched . Because is made of styrofoam it will get stains very easy, also styrofoam seems very easy to get damage even if you squeeze . Needs good clean up work every time , and must be done ASAP after finish hatching

but get more information on both and compare , make your best choice

How much do you like to spend? that is the question

My first hatch was some quail eggs that came for free with my order. I think I had a 50% hatch from those little eggs. Then I ordered some chicken eggs from Texas, and I'm clear up in Ohio, so those eggs traveled a LONG way. Out of 13 eggs, six hatched, so I think that's very good for the distance the eggs traveled.

Thanks you guys! I am really trying to take into consideration about all the options...there is so much to learn!

Anybody else wanna share?

Oh, and jm93030 I looked at that incubator, and I think, for me, it is to much for the little operation I want.
