I am going to have to buy an incubator. I have not had much luck with the styrofoam style incubators. Please tell me what is the best incubator and why. This may be my one and only incubator purchase and I want to get the best for my money. I would like to be able to hatch 48 or more at a time. It would be great if it had a built in turner too.

I have an older GQF Sportsman cabinet incubator. Originally it had a wafer thermostat but we changed it over to a digital thermostat and put a clear door on it. Try Craigslist. I saw a couple on there the other day, one for $200. and the other for $300. The $200. did not have a hatching tray on the bottom but the $300. did. I incubate in my cabinet but still hatch in my styrofoam incubators.

wow i want an incubator so bad! i saw a gfq incubator and a hatcher for $350 each here. That is a lot isnt it?

A brand new GQF cabinet incubator is around $650. and up and the hatcher goes for around $650. too. These are new prices plus shipping.

I put in an order with custom incubators.com yesterday. A 4 shelf cabinet incubator, my choice of color, $245 with free shipping. I already have the 4 egg turners that will fit inside. I decided not to get the hatching drawer since I have 4 styro LG bators that will do a great job of hatching. They seem to have good reviews on ebay and I'd rather spend $245 than over $600.

They are on sale right now, I don't know for how long. I could have added a brooder for $100 more but decided to stick with my huge plastic totes and galvanized water troughs. The incubators are made to order so it will be a few weeks before it arrives (shipping ground but hey, it's free). I'll try to come back and update once the incubator arrives and I test it out.
