Best materials and building tips?

I do not like the coop I currently have so I am going to convert my old playstructure into a coop. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or things you wish you had done. I also wanted to know if some building materials are better than others for a coop and if there are any materials I should stay away from. Any information is greatly appreciated, thanks!
