Best meat birds

Ok so I want to do meat birds next summer but I need to know what is the best kind of meat bird, what do they weigh and how big do they get. Any help is greatly appreciated.

P.S I am are talking about chickens

Cornish Rocks. Typically get between 5lbs and 7lbs within 6 to 9 weeks. Very tasty. They should be available through most hatcheries, and Tractor Supply should sell them. I've raised them myself, and they weren't very hard to raise.
Warning: they are quite messy birds!

I have little experience with selling them, because I have only raised them for my use. I would suggest looking for any local auctions, or posting on craigslist should do the trick.
