was wondering on everyone's take on best feed.. I have always used a premade layer pellet and scratch grains with a few b.o.s.s thrown in as well as treats of grapes and yogurt and watermelon when in season.. my chickens used to free range over my 4 acres of land but I moved and now primarily confined to coop and just feed.. every once in awhile when it was warm they would get out for a bit to browse through the woods and get some bugs and grass.. what is best type feed? I am currently using Bob White Feed-Layer Pellet and a scratch grain from Buckeye feed, Bob White or Tractor Supply-whichever I end up getting.. I am located in NE Ohio and the Bob White Feed comes locally..
