Best pair of baby ducks for kids

I have bearded silkies. 8...I would like to get a pair if geese and a pair of ducks.would breeds wb best for me and my 8 yr old grandson.

I think allmost all; except Mandarin ducks and other special-looking ducks. In my experience those are less tame/cuddly; and male-female pairing ducks are often more "loners" from the group.

So Indian runners, pekin's, muscovy's, cayuga's, every group-duck can be an lovely asset. Where I live it is illegal to clip their wings; if that's the same over there I would go for non-flying duck breeds; or if you find it a hassle to clip them.

Some of the big hatcheries have breed comparison charts on their websites. Metzers comes to mind. I would be looking for a breed that has a calm temperament, is fairly sturdy, and does well in a mixed flock.

Any non exotic breed mine was khaki Campbell and call ducks calls wher every nice for looking and and they clocked on there own eggs and khaki Campbell where just excellent layers on of if not the best breed of laying duck out there in my opinion
