I have a motley flock of bantam girls and wanted to add some BOs. I originally wanted a standard BO, but I am trying to be reasonable as I am "illegal" and don't want to ruffle any feathers
I have 5 girls right now and will build a 8x8 pen with a 8x4 brooder/broody room. If a girls goes broody, I will let her stay in the broody room, perhaps have a nice ocean sounds cd playing with some scented candles and a daily massage
And for the obnoxious broodies, I will just have to get her some chickies to sit on in a private suite.
I really want no more than 5. (I know I will add more at some point
) I want to get them from a place that will let me get only 5 and will also vaccinate for Merecks. Can any of you point me in the right direction? It doesn't have to be from a hatchery either. A small-scale breeder will be fine too. I got my girls from a small breeder.
