Just looking for some good eats. Where did you get yours? How much? How fast did they develope?

I highly recommend Welp Hatchery. VERY reasonable pricing, shipping is included in pricing so it's easy to add up, great customer service, birds were hardy, docile, grew very well, and taste great! All but one made it to butchering day, and that was our fault. My brother handled it roughly at 6 weeks old (he was gentle with it, but he did flip it on it's back for a few seconds). But anyway, I HIGHLY recommend Welp! http://www.welphatchery.com/cornish_rock.asp

I have always had good luck with Welps meat birds too. But if you want to try something cheap, Glynn at Sandhill has been working on developing a hardy pasture raised, disease tolerant, fast growing meat bird. It is part of the Mystery Assortment that sells for 25 for $15. At 60 cents a piece you can't go wrong.

I second Welp. Cheapest prices I've found on meaties, healthy birds, and they grow well.

We always use Welp for the meat birds if possible, better growth rates, better survivability. Highly recommended for the Cornish Cross.
