Best predator protection

Hello I am new to raising chicken what is the best way to protect them at nite . The whole cage is enclosed but have concerns

I have had the bottom of my hutch and part of run have bottom of floor covered in fencing, so no animal can dig under. Over the fencing on floor I put the chickens bedding, so they can get comfortable without sitting on the fence.

Hello and welcome....so glad you joined BYC

Just make sure the enclosure is sturdy enough to withstand any predator that can chew, fit thru gaps or reach into with grasping little paws. Raccoons are extremely strong and will pull your chickens thru anything with gaps bigger than 1/4 or 1/2 inch hardware cloth.
