Best resources? Backyard Chickens for Dummies??

HI! We're completely new to chickens and hope to gather info & build a coop this fall/winter to have things ready to go for a teeny flock by spring. Does anyone have any recommendations for a go-to book for brand-new beginners? The resources on this site are super, but I'd also love to have something I can pull off the shelf.
Ideas?
