Best snake repellent

Y’all. I’ve met my quota on black rat snakes. This morning we removed our 5th one in a month. We put them in a bucket and relocate them two miles away. I think it’s time to invest in some kind of snake repellent. I would like your opinion on the best ones.

Wonder if you have a nest of them under your coop or otherwise nearby? Or if perhaps you should take them (it?) even farther away? I found a 3' long one in my coop last week and humanely destroyed it - it had eggs in its gullet. I'd rather destroy a predator I catch than make it somebody else's problem.

I just killed one after I found it trying and failing to eat my duckling that was not that small. I would also like to know one that works. I have fine mesh chicken wire all around the pen.

Sigh. I have another black rat snake, this one living under the hen house. I'm gathering eggs several times a day; maybe it will give up and move on but not all that hopeful. It's too small to bother the chickens but I'm not happy about it being there. Ordering a minnow trap today. I won't rest till it's gone.
