Best time to stick some buns in the oven. New incubator

I want some hens that will be laying by spring, when should I pop some eggs in? Also, Do you guys know of a good cheap incubator because I Chinese one I bought is really iffy.

If you want eggs by April or May you should incubate now.
I use R-COM King Suro 20. Incubator it takes 24 chicken eggs. it is fully automatic and I get good results with it. It is "fire and forget" incubator, I don't candle eggs. the only intervention I do is at the beginning of day 19 I change the settings and stop turning. I like this incubator, but this is the only incubator I know
