Best ways to cook a home grown chicken

At what age do you eat a homegrown chicken????

I would say at least 2 years old. I mean before that, about all you can handle is mashed bananas, cream of wheat, or perhaps you are still on the bottle (of milk). At 56 years old, however, I can eat a homegrown chicken just fine, although I usually don't eat it all myself in one sitting.
