That's exactly what I did . This is my original name swampfox440 but some how my point reactions didn't transfer . I couldn't stand that chickenfinder name so I just used it to see if I could find myself and one day I ran into myself and when I did It jogged my memory . I was also testing the water, if you know what I am saying . Sometimes if you want to get rats out of a wood pile you have to burn the whole pile of wood even if the wood costed you money . ( No offense meant to anyone ) This place has changed so much you don't see it when you are on here every day . I spent my last 20 years TIG welding exotic metal pipe in Nuclear Power plants , NASA , Various US Government plants . It doesn't give you much time for BYC! when you are working 16 Hrs. a day on plant shutdowns . I can't tell you any more about my work but at least you know where I was. At any rate there is always a price to pay . I am retired now and have more time for the animals . I used to raise red foxes, also my wife had a pet artic fox ( Sly ) for 8 yrs. until he passed away . They are a very interesting creature they can smell and hear a mouse or vole under 3 ft. of snow then pounce way up in the air and dive in and come up with a critter .This is a unique account. Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
