oi vey!

I agree with Soonerdog on everything but the fact that they will eventually kill each other. The top bird in your post looks to be a cross of game and leghorn, just my opinion. And depending on how far removed from the pit these birds are, you may have no problem at all with them. I have free ranged and penned game birds that are greatly removed from the fighting and they did just fine together.

I am able to tell the sex of these birds strictly by the color pattern of feathering. Nothing to do with their combs in determining they are MALES. I am very familiar with this color variety of fighting games and early on the chicks can be sexed when starting to feather. The little pullets are tan...wheaten color. It is possible they might get along raised together. (?) I guess it is worth a try! Soonerdog

HAPPY UPDATE!
i found a home for "anita" the younger AGF hen who i thought was a gal until i got some help via this post.
i found a lady who is starting a new flock of laying hens and she wanted a roo for decoration/protection etc. her only criteria was she didn't want a "white" roo - she wanted one with some color - and i could certainly help her out with that (rubio and "anita" have that lovely red/brown/black coloration)!
i am SO relieved that i got "anita" to a nice, safe forever home with a great lady who loves her animals. she is retired and just has a few farm-type animals for pleasure and fun!
yea!
thanks to everyone who helped me figure out the breed/sex on these roos.
what a GREAT way to start the new year!

You could try this site, they are a very friendly bunch of gamefowl breeders and many of them have oegs
http://www.gameowlfacts.org

One thing I know many of you all may be interested in is a wiki just for poultry. It uses the same software as wikepedia and people can add to it the same way. Its a new idea and fun to work on and can lead to a lot of great information for any poultry breeder with combined efforts on everyones behalf.

Anyone can add to and create new pages. Even a personal page about your farm. Of course we are trying to teach others how to do this neatly and many still have to learn but if anyone is interested the address is. http://www.gamefowlfacts.org/wiki/
