I was impressed that 15 minutes later Taylor was able to slap on the happy face and perform beautifully, I don't know if I could do that at nearly twice her age.

I have read that he was kicked out for it. Praise God for that one. That guy needs a serious kick in the pants if you ask me.

Me too, he deserves the BOOOOO!!!! I guess the mother in me had kicked in and I just teared up when she was standing there while he was rambling off, then when she tried to talk and you couldn't hear her. The best part was When Beyonce went up to accept video of the year (a HUGE Award) and stepped aside to call Taylor up to have her moment back... I have always thought of Beyonce as a classy woman and boy it showed last night! Taylor is a strong young woman and I was so proud of her to stay so strong and move on with her night!

They are the kind of women I want my daughter to look up to and see as role models.

I edited to add that when I showed my daughter (5) Taylor accepting her award, she put her little hand over her heart and said "I Love You Taylor Swift, you have the best songs ever!" Then she looked at me and said "She's great Mommy" LOL..I thought That was so cute! She doesn't even know who Kanye West is and won't ever know!


Kanye is garbage and needs to be slapped...

Its all over the country stations this morning...


They said Kanye did this once before when Gretchin Wilson won an award he walked out.
It was said Kanye was escorted out of the building and his performance was taken away. While leaving he bumped into Taylors mother.. She told him that Taylor had lots of talent and deserved the award and he was out of line.
Kanyes website was shut down for hours stating it was 'down for maintenance'. At midnight Kanye posted a statement saying he was sorry.

(riiiiiight....)

Kudos to Beyonce for allowing Taylor to come back up and give her speech.

They were asking people if they think he would have done it if anyone else (Pink, Kelly Clarkston, etc) would have won. What do you think?
