Beyond a soft shell egg!! An alien?

Help! I found this in the poop hammock under the roost this morning! I’ve had a soft shell egg in my day, but this long thing that looks like a giant worm though.....what the heck? Please don’t say oyster shells, they get a constant supply. Also haven’t given them anything with salt. Do we have a big problem?
