I'm new, here's me
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? sort of new, my birbs are about 10 months old but I've worked with other ppl's birbs.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 2 hens and a rooster. I ended up with a friend's hen's rejected chicks.
(3) What breeds do you have? Dipper, Easter egger/black australorp(sire). Mabel, black australorp(sire)/?? (White with a few black feathers). LazySusan(feed store back up chick), silver laced Wyandotte
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I enjoy spending time in the yard with them, even tho Dipper is aggro, I know he needs more hens! I'm working on it, keep hoping one of my girls will go broody to make adding to the flock easier.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? crafty stuff. Trying to get better at plants.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. 3 kids, 8 cats and 3 chcikens. I'm a vet tech and dog groomer.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
