Bielefelder 7 day old - cockerel?

To me most of this chick screams cockerel to me with one exception: it has the band, albeit not dark, around and behind the eye. But it is lighter than the 3 others I just got, it really does not have the tell-tale chipmunk pattern, and finally it has a small white (yellow?) dot on it's head.

I can see the band around those males' eyes as well.

You have a little cockerel. Bielefelders are autosexing-males look like yours and females are much darker brown with the well defined chipmunk stripes and no spot on top of their head.

I was going to say it looks like a male to me.
I've never found the theory about the eye stripe to hold true. And yes it's mostly males that appear female if going with that theory.
