Bielefelder concern

Hi all,
I just acquired the most beautiful Bielefelder pullet and she is as sweet as they say! She is just under a year and has a gorgeous and healthy look to her.
She has been at my house for 5 days and she hasn’t laid an egg and I was told she is laying. She isn’t egg bound (gave her a warm bath and cannot feel an egg; vent looks healthy)
So… She also walks with a limp and I’ve examined this thoroughly. No bumblefoot, no apparent injury, doesn’t seem to be in pain. Eats, drinks, poops and roosts normally. Can fly to a roost 1 foot or so off the ground with no trouble but does limp on the roost. No one is picking on her and the only thing I can figure out is that she “tripped” in the coop on day 1 when everyone was “acquainting themselves”. We have just gotten over a heat wave but she isn’t panting. She is definitely a big girl and enjoys sitting in a cool corner of the run when she isn’t hanging out with me. Any thoughts? Anything I’m missing?

Whenever hens are moved to a new environment they generally take a break in their laying cycle - chickens hate change. She may very well molt before she starts her next laying cycle.
