A different mix for olive eggers since that is what people like nowadays!!

I actually have the WTB over Bielefelders in my incubator and due to hatch next week!!!

I have 13 Bielefelder over Cream Legbar eggs in the incubator as we speak. Has anyone attempted this cross? If so could you share your experience please? From what I’ve researched they should lay green eggs. What did the birds look like? I read something that the F1s might be sex linked not autosexing? Any help and/or photos would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help.

How did that turn out? I have Opal Legbar and Cream I would like to put over Bielefelder.

I'm thinking about working with this cross later this year. My Bubba came home with some CCL day olds and we have a gentlemanly foster Bielefelder with only 3 ladies.

Some things to note:
Guaranteed heterozygous for blue eggs in f1
Auto sexing in f1
MUCH more heat tolerant than industry standard formulae for EE/OEs
I live in Florida and this hits hardest. Most OEs I see have feathered feet and half of them have beards and muffs.
Hybrid vigor with one of the best dual-purpose breeds in the world might produce some delicious table birds.
Might even try to stabilize it into something like 3/4 bielevelder but homozygous for blue eggs and cute little hats.
