Bielefelder rooster

Have decided to up my breeding with a higher quality rooster. I am getting a Bielefelder rooster. I love the coloring and the size of the bird, but really not finding a lot of information.

I currently have a mixed lot of birds, but I have noticed that the yellow/reddish color tends to blend in with the prairie better. So for this year this is my plan. I have tried so many.

Got him today, such a sweetheart, about a year old, his spurs are just nubs. Came in calling to the girls, dancing, looking for nesting areas. They were all snuggled down in the shade, it was so hot today.
